Volunteering for Citizen’s Advice Bureau

Whether you are considering a career in the advocacy/charity sector or not, volunteering can really add to your CV and profile as a potential employee. As well as helping you develop and demonstrate key skills for the workplace, volunteering offers you a great opportunity to build networks and gain contacts which may be of use to you when you start thinking about applying for that first graduate job.

There are some great opportunities currently on offer at the Lancaster and Morecambe Citizen’s Advice Bureau where you can gain knowledge and understanding of advocacy, housing law, employment law and personal finance. From Reception or Data inputting duties to Campaigns, Assessor and Adviser roles, there are a host of opportunities available which are detailed in the attached leaflet.
